TIVAR® - Ceram P®

Tivar® Ceram P®

Also available:  Tivar® Clean Stat

TIVAR® Ceram P® is suitable for high load, high speed and abrasive applications. It is composed of virgin polymer and premium additives and is easily recognisable by its lime-green colour. Due to its high tensile strength and wear resistance, TIVAR® Ceram P® is ideal for reducing parts wear and machine downtime.  It is also a shatter resistant alternative to sintered ceramics.

Key features:

  • Excellent wear resistance.
  • High tensile strength.
  • High impact resistance.
  • High load resistance.
  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Low moisture absorption.
  • Not FDA approved.
  • Higher wear resistance than PE1000.

Temperature:

-200ºC to +80ºC, +90ºC short term

Applications:  High load, high speed and severe sliding abrasion applications.  Alternative to sintered ceramics.  Chain guides and wear strips especially for high speed and severe sliding applications.

Availability:

Sheet size (mm): 3050 x 1220.
Thickness (mm): 1.5 up to 75.
