Delrin® Acetal Homopolymer (Polyoxymethylene) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic engineering material with high strength and rigidity, excellent machinability and varied applications.

Key Features:

  • Resistant to dilute acids, cleaning agents and numerous solvents
  • Very good electrical insulation
  • Easily machined and polished
  • Not resistant long term to water over 60°C
  • Easily welded

Temperature Range:
-40ºC to +100ºC, +150ºC short term.

Applications:
Friction bearings, gears, spring elements, housing parts, rollers, friction strips, plugs, insulators, snap fit connectors and seals.

Availability:

Colour: Natural (white) or black.
Sheet Size (mm): 3000 x 500, 1220 x 610.
Thickness (mm): 5 to 100.
Rod dia (mm): 4 to 200.
Length (mm): 3000.
