Polyethersulphone

Polyethersulphone is an amorphous translucent engineering thermoplastic with very good thermal mechanical strength for demanding applications.

Key Features:

  • Translucent
  • Rigid and creep resistant
  • Very good thermal mechanical strength
  • Suitable for repeated superheated steam sterilization
  • Good dimensional accuracy
  • Good electrical insulation
  • Good weldability
  • Easily machined, care required with coolant, susceptible to stress cracking
  • Self extinguishing V-0
  • Gamma ray resistant

Applications:

Metering apparatus, sterilization tanks, catalyst support, coil former, insulators, sensor housings, surgical instruments, light sockets, flanges, switch parts, valve bodies, sight glasses.
