Polysulphone
Polysulphone is an amorphous translucent engineering thermoplastic with good thermal mechanical strength for demanding applications.
Key Features:
Translucent.
Good thermal mechanical strength.
Suitable for repeated superheated steam sterilization.
Gamma ray resistant.
Good electrical insulation.
Good weldabiliy.
Self-extinguishing V-0.
Easily machined – care required with coolant, susceptible to stress cracking.
Applications:
Metering apparatus, sterilization tanks, catalyst supports, coil formers, insulators, sensor housings, surgical instruments, light sockets, flanges, switch parts, valve bodies, sight glasses
