Nylon 6 Rod - MoS2 Filled Cast

Nylon 6 rod - MoS2 filled cast offers enhanced load bearing and wear resistance whilst maintaining the impact and fatigue resistance of standard nylon grades. Our MoS2 filled cast Nylon offers a higher temperature rating compared to the extruded grade.

Applications

Gears, sheaves, sprockets and wear components.

Temperature: -40°C up to +110°C.
Offers improved load bearing and wear resistance properties over standard Nylon grades.
Enhanced mechanical strength, hardness and toughness.
Self-lubricating and electrically insulating.
Good resistance to fatigue and wear.
Improved temperature resistance compared to extruded Nylon 6 MoS2.
Easily machined.
