Safety Gate Installation Instructions
The Security Gate comes pre-assembled.
You may need to remove the swinging arm from the hinge for easier installation, remove the top cover plate from the hinge. This allows you to remove the pin and swinging arm.
Installation is easily done by drilling only four holes for fixing the hinge and the supporting block.
Mounting the Hinge
The hinge must be installed as close as possible to the top of the guard rail.
Locate and drill two holes of 18mm on 159mm centres for the hinge bolts and tighten the hinge to the construction.
Mounting the Support Block
Locate and drill two holes of 8mm on 32mm centres for the block bolts and tighten the support block to the guard rail.
Make sure the support block is installed approximately 15mm below the swing arm
The support block only prevents a possible vertical deflection. It should not touch the swinging arm in closed postion.
