Flexible Crash Doors
Flexible crash doors provide a practical and economic solution to reduce heat loss and noise pollution in the workplace.
Applications: lightweight internal pedestrian applications, to external heavy duty applications involving powered traffic. Suitable for food preparation facilities, cold storage areas, warehouses and industrial areas.
Availability:
Framework:
The framework comprises of a spring mechanism wihch is a seperate detachable unit and slides inside the vertical tube. The spring unit is adjustable for varying draught and traffic conditions.
Materials available include: powder coated steel, zinc plasted steel, GRP and stainless steel.
Panels:
The panels are available in either PVC, Rubber or a combination of the two.
Rubber panels are available in either 8mm or 12mm thick manufactured to BS490:1985. They comprise of a black high grade, durable rubber compound and are reinforced with a 2ply polyester fabric for maximum resilience and strength.
Plastic panels are manufactured from PVC and are available in 7mm or 10mm thick. The panels are available in clear, black and blue (7mm only) and can be welded together to provide a half clear, half coloured door leaf.
A combination of pvc and rubber are available and are fixed together using bolts and over lap rubber strip at the join.
Windows
Our crash doors can be manufactured with triangular, circular or oval acrylic panels held between 16 s.w.g pressed steel frames.
Triangular: 380mm x 305mm
Oval: 545mm x 240mm
Circular: 275mm diameter
