Aluminium Coated Glass Cloth

Aluminium coated glass cloth is constructed from an aluminium sprayed polyester film which is laminated to one side of the cloth. Due to its properties, aluminium coated glass cloth is typically used in heat shield applications and in the manufacture of sleeves, connectors, chutes, compensators and bellows. It may also be used in the manufacture of bespoke insulation jackets.

Key Features

• Temperature: Up to +150°C (This is the temperature at which the adhesive will begin to thermally degrade. This may lead to the foil delaminating from the cloth. The base fabric will withstand +550°C unstressed).
• Good heat reflective properties.
• Good resistance to solvents and corrosive liquids.
