Carp Brand Tufnol

Carp Brand Tufnol is a top quality grade suitable for mechanical and electromechanical applications. Carp Brand Tufnol is made from a premium quality fine weave cotton fabric which has been specially treated to enhance its machinability. Carp Brand Tufnol is strong with good wear resistance, low water absorption and good dimensional stability. Electrical properties are excellant for this class of material. It has relatively good resistance to high impact.

Applications:

Carp Brand Tufnol is often used for aplications requiring the machining of intricate features such as fine toothed gears, cams, geneva wheels, seal retaining rings, actuating arms, insulating sleeves and bushes.

Typical Sheet Size (mm):  1200x1200 note sheet sizes up to 1525x1200mm can also be made.
