High Temperature Insulation

Kite Brand Tufnol

Kite Brand Tufnol is a first class electrical insulating material with good dielectric strength and high insulation resistance. It has low moisture absorption and good mechanical strength, although its impact strength is lower than other grades of Tufnol. Kite Brand Tufnol is easy to machine and can be hot punched up to 3.2mm thick.

Applications:

A wide range of electrical insulation applications at low, medium and high voltage including terminal boards, mounting panels, tag strips, coil formers, insulating sleeves, busbar supports, brush holders, insulating spacers and special purpose plugs and sockets.

Availability:

Typical Sheet Size (mm):  1200x1200
Thickness (mm):  0.8 through to 25

PAR can also supply tubular section, hexagonal bar and rectangular bar.

PAR can also offer Black Kite Brand Tufnol which may be subject to minimum order quantities.
