Musco M
(image to follow)
PAR offer Musco M as an alternative to Muscotherm®
Musco M is manufactured from several layers of resin impregnated muscovite mica paper which are bonded together using a heat resisting silicone resin and pressed under heat and high pressure to form rigid sheets. This results in a laminate with good mechanical, electrical and thermal properties.
Applications: used in many applications where a thermally stable asbestos free product is required. These include free standing heating elements and thermal barriers.
If the material is is to be used in an enclosed environment, heat treatment prior to use is recommended.
