Pyrojacket

Pyrojacket is manufactured from 'E' Glass fibre yarn knitted to form a sleeve and coated with a high grade ron oxide silicone elastomer rubber.
Applications:
Ideal for protecting hose assemblies, cables and wires from heat / metal splash. Helps to prevent injury and burns to personnel from hot hose and steam lines.
Temperature:
Up to +260°C continuous,
Up to +1090°C for 15 to 20mins.
Up to +1650°C for 15-30 seconds.

- High flexibility
- Continuous protection at an operating temperature of 250ºC
- Ability to withstand a molton metal splash at 1200ºC
- Resistant to oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, acids and alkalis.
- When exposed to flame the high grade rubber will form a protective Sio2 layer.
- Retains heat wthin the pipework thus reducing energy loss.
- Excellent flame resistance.
- Excellent abrasion resistance.
