Pyrojacket

Pyrojacket is manufactured from 'E' Glass fibre yarn knitted to form a sleeve and coated with a high grade ron oxide silicone elastomer rubber.

Applications:

Ideal for protecting hose assemblies, cables and wires from heat / metal splash. Helps to prevent injury and burns to personnel from hot hose and steam lines.

Temperature:
Up to +260°C continuous,
Up to +1090°C for 15 to 20mins.
Up to +1650°C for 15-30 seconds.

Key Features:

High flexibility
Continuous protection at an operating temperature of 250ºC
Ability to withstand a molton metal splash at 1200ºC
Resistant to oils, fuels, hydraulic fluids, acids and alkalis.
When exposed to flame the high grade rubber will form a protective Sio₂ layer.
Retains heat wthin the pipework thus reducing energy loss.
Excellent flame resistance.
Excellent abrasion resistance.

Generally 15mtr coils, part lengths may be available. Pyrojacket is available as industrial and aerospace grades.
