Rockwool Slab Insulation
Rockwool Rigid, Semi-rigid and flexible slabs are high quality resin bonded slabs and are available in a range of thickness’ and densities to suit a most applications. They can be used for thermal, acoustic and fire insulation and are commonly used for thermal insulation for floors, walls, roofs and boiler rooms. They are available in non-woven mineral black or white tissue, aluminium foil for vapour barrier and increased thermal conductivity.
Grades available: RWA45 (Flexible), RW3 (Semi-rigid), RW5 (Rigid), RW6 (Rigid)
Service temperature: RWA45 up to 230°C, RW3 up to 425 °C, RW5 up to 525 °C, RW6 up to 675 °C
Typical applications: ventilation plant, offshore platforms and ships, acoustic ceilings and partition panels.
