Heated IBC Insulation Jackets

PAR Group offer the following types of heated IBC insulation jackets suitable for IBC containers. These jackets are designed to provide electric surface heating to products stored in 1000 litre intermediate bulk containers (IBC). Our heated IBC insulation jackets reduce the viscosity of fats, oils, foodstuffs and chemicals. Heated IBC insulation jackets are available to buy online at PAR Direct by clicking the link above.

HIBC-B Heated IBC Insulation Jacket

HIBC/B Heated IBC Insulation Jacket

HIBC/B heated IBC insulation jackets are manufactured from a water resistant, Teflon™ coated polyester material and insulated with a spiral wound silicone resistance element. They have quick release adjustable buckles for ease of installation and cover all four sides of the IBC. The HIBC/B has two separate insulating circuits for its upper and lower halves, each controlled with separate integral thermostats. This allows for the upper circuit to be switched off once the content level has dropped below halfway. Insulated lids are available as extra if required.

Applications

Heating of liquid materials stored in bulk containers throughout a wide range of industries. Ideal for frost protection, temperature maintenance and heat up applications.

Key Features

  • Teflon™ coated polyester with dual power circuits for upper and lower heated zones.
  • Thermally insulated.
  • Includes a 4 metre power cable without plug.

IBC1, IBC2 and IBC3 Heated IBC Insulation Jackets

IBC1, IBC2 and IBC3 Heated Insulation JacketsIBC1, IBC2 and IBC3 Heated Insulation Jackets

Our IBC1, IBC2 and IBC3 heated IBC insulation jackets are manufactured from a water resistant nylon outer material and a coated glass cloth inner for chemical and temperature resistance. They have quick release adjustable buckles for ease of installation, which cover all four sides of the IBC.

The IBC1 jacket has a single heating circuit and is ideal for frost protection. Insulating lids are not supplied as standard with IBC1 jackets, but are available to purchase separately.

The IBC2 jacket has dual top and bottom circuits, enabling the container to be heated rapidly. It also allows for the top and bottom zones to be controlled separately with integrated thermostats. Insulating lids are not supplied as standard with IBC2 jackets, but are available to purchase separately.

The IBC3 jacket has three individual heating circuits, allowing for much shorter heat-up times and enhanced temperature maintenance. The IBC3 jacket is supplied with an insulated lid as standard.

Applications

Heating of liquid materials stored in bulk containers throughout a wide range of industries.

IBC1: Frost protection and gentle viscosity improvement.
IBC2: Frost protection, temperature maintenance and heat-up.
IBC3: Temperature maintenance and heat-up (specifically high temperature applications and shorter heat-up times).

Key Features

  • Standard sizes are designed to fit standard industry containers.
  • Water resistant nylon materials.
  • Coated glass cloth inside layer for protection against chemicals.
  • Each heating circuit includes its own power cable without plug.
  • IP54 rated.

IBC Insulating Lid

IBC Insulating Attached to an IBC Unit

IBC Insulating Lids are designed to reduce heat loss from the top of an exposed IBC unit. The lids feature a centre top opening flap allowing access to the centre fill cap, eliminating the need to fully remove the lid. Heat loss reduction results in energy saving and therefore lower bills.
