Thermoplastic polyurethane sheet, also known as TPU, are a range of thermoplastic elastomers providing an array of beneficial properties. By nature, TPU's are highly impact, puncture and abrasion resistant, have excellent tear strength, and are unaffected by the majority of oil, grease and cleaning substances.
TPU is highly versatile and can be manufactured to a wide range of shore hardnesses, colours and specifications to suit many applications. Our own stocked range includes materials from 72° to 95° shore hardness, all of which are approved for dry food contact use.
Using our own in-house manufacturing facilities, we can convert our thermoplastic polyurethanes into bespoke products such as gaskets, washers and strips. Our most popular converted product is ourVersa-chute® polyurethane sleevessuitable for the transfer and sorting of dry foodstuffs, grain, grit, powder, wood shavings, dust and other abrasive materials.
