Polyurethane Roller and Wheel Recovery

Polyurethane Rollers and Wheels

PAR offers two methods of polyurethane roller recovery. Firstly the rotational method which offers excellent process capability, computer controlled, and robot applied rotational technique ensures consistent and bubble- free product. A minimal over-build, prior to finishing, results in efficient material usage and cost savings. PAR also cast polyurethane onto steel rollers as it offers greater material choice. The rotational method is faster than traditional casting, reducing downtime and roller stockholding.

Both applications are suitable for 'one-offs' or large batches with the ability to handle rollers up to 6m long x 1.5m diameter. A wide range of hardness’s (from 20ºA to 70ºD) and grades are available to provide the desired properties for individual applications. A grinding facility is also offered, as is the ability to give a patterned finish to your rollers such as diamond or herringbone.

Where suitable PAR can arrange for collection of your rollers and will deliver them back to your desired location stripped and recovered to your requirements. Complete rollers can also be manufactured and journal ends and bearings replaced.
