Plastic Shims

Plastic Shims (colour coded polyester film) have become increasingly recognised in engineering for shimming, spacing and insulation applications. The unique colour coding of plastic shim denotes the material thickness eliminating the need to use a a micrometer. Plastic shim has excellent wear resistance with a high strength to weight ratio making in a popular alternative to metallic shimming materials.

Availability:

Sheet Sizes (mm):	609 x 304, 1220 x 610m, 1828 x 914 (1828 x 914 only available in 0.375mm thick and above).
Plastic Shim Packs:	Available for sheet sizes 609x304mm and 1220x610mm Packs contain 22 sheets with one of each colour denoted with an astrix (*) below.
