Gaskets

Gaskets

PAR Group are a leading supplier of gaskets and gasket materials to UK, European and worldwide industry. With over three decades of experience, we have acquired an unrivalled knowledge in the conversion of semi-finished products. We pride ourselves on our ability to find solutions to unusual and difficult applications and are a trusted gasket supplier to many multinational and blue chip organisations.

Utilising highly advanced CNC profile cutting technology, we have the capability to undertake both low and high volume orders. Our services include same day manufacture for urgent breakdowns, contracts to cover ongoing requirements, and single gaskets for one-off needs. We commonly manufacture a wide range of gasket types including; flange gasket tables for DIN (European), BS10 (British and Australian) and ANSI B16.5 (USA) standards, inner bolt circle (IBC) gaskets, and bespoke picture frame and dovetail gaskets. We can also convert semi-finished materials to almost any shape, size or profile required from existing samples or dimensional drawings. For more information, please see our bespoke gaskets and CNC cutting section.

Our most common range of materials for conversion include; rubber and sponge sheeting, Klinger® compressed fibre materials and expanded PTFE. We also offer a range of FDA approved and metal detectable grades that are popular in food, drink and pharmaceutical applications when hygiene and detectability is of primary importance. A range of specialist gaskets and seals for use at high temperatures and pressures can also be supplied if required.

For more information regarding the gasket materials we supply, please follow the links within the 'Gasket Materials Available' section to view our full product range. We have also created a 'gasket materials selection guide' should you require further advice on your material selection. Alternatively, if you are still unsure about the type of gasket type you require, please contact our technical sales team and provide us with the following information so we can help assist with your enquiry:

Application:

  • What are you trying to seal?
  • How many gaskets do you require?

Size Details:

  • Dimensions (including the number of holes and material thickness).
  • A dimensional drawing.

Material:

  • Product being conveyed (i.e. chemical, acids, solvents etc.) and temperature range.
  • Pressure rating required.
  • Is the gasket for internal or external pipework? (List other relevant environmental conditions).

How to Measure a Gasket?

If you are having difficulty trying to accurately measure your flange, inner bolt circle (IBC) or picture frame gasket and need some assistance, please view our step by step guide on 'How to Measure a Gasket'.
