PTFE Rod

PTFE Rod

PTFE rod has excellent resistance to most chemicals and solvents and is capable of operating at high and low temperatures. It also has a very low coefficient of friction and is commonly used in food contact applications. It provides good thermal stability and has good electrical properties, but is not suitable for wear application and is difficult to bond. PTFE rod is available to buy online at PAR Direct by clicking the link above.

Note: Other diameters and lengths may be available - please enquire. 4mm Ø up to 115mm Ø is extruded PTFE. 120mm Ø up to 200mm Ø is moulded PTFE.

Technical Specification:
We can also supply modified TFM™ PTFE if required. TFM™ PTFE offers lower deformation under load, lower permeation due to denser polymer structure, better weldability, improved stress recovery, smoother surface finishes and higher transparency. Please note that TFM™ PTFE may be subject to lead times and availability.
