£600 in the net for St Catherine’s following our World Cup fundraiser

We were proud to deliver a cheque for £640 to St Catherine’s Hospice following the conclusion of our World Cup fundraiser #20s4Eng. 

Our campaign involved £20 being donated for every England goal during the 2018 World Cup and a fantastic 16 goals were scored (inc. penalty shootout).  This achieved a final donation total of £320 which was kindly matched by Bedaro Ltd who joined us with their support.

Hayley Jackson, fundraiser for St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “There was a great sense of national pride during the World Cup, and it was made all the more exciting knowing that St Catherine’s was benefiting every time England scored. This money will really help in our continued efforts to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care to local people at the hospice, out in the community, and in people’s own homes.
