We are delighted to announce that for the second consecutive year, PAR Group will remain official partners of the ‘City of Preston 10K’ road race and ‘Family Fun Run’ in 2019.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday 29th September and is set to follow a similar route to that of previous years, showcasing some of Preston’s best sights including, the newly renovated market hall, Harris Museum & Gallery and the beautiful Avenham Park. Following the recent success in previous years, event organisers have also decided to hold the ‘Family Fun Run’. This is a shorter distanced event designed to encourage runners of all ages and abilities to take part in (buggies and walkers can also enter too!). All participants will receive a commemorative Preston 10K medal and T-shirt upon completion of the race.
Furthermore, from 2019, Sports Tours International have announced that ALL profits will go to ‘The Running Bee Foundation’ - a foundation committed to helping residents within local communities improve their health and wellbeing, as well as tackling the ever growing problem of childhood obesity.
