The SPAR City of Preston 10K returns on Sunday 26th September 2021 and we are pleased to announce that once again we will be an Official Partner to The Running Bee Foundation's event.
This popular race draws runners of all ages and abilities, beginning and ending on Market Street in the centre of the city and passing through the idyllic Avenham Park.
The organisers, Sports Tours International, will use the profits raised from their Preston, Manchester, Salford, Tameside and Knowsley races to provide grants to local community initiatives. This is done through The Running Bee Foundation, a charity founded by Sports Tours to help promote and create health and wellbeing initiatives, as well as to support the fight to reduce childhood obesity.

This year, The Running Bee Foundation have announced it’s “MyFirst™” initiative and is encouraging people to complete the first mile of the Preston 10k with the Foundation. All Mile runners will receive a medal!
