Nylon 66 Sheet

Nylon 66 Sheet

Food Approved Product

Nylon 66 sheet offers a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance than nylon 6. It also has a better creep resistance but lower impact strength. The natural version is food approved.

Temperature: -30°C to +95°C (+170°C short term).

Key Features: Good sliding and wear properties. High strength and resistant to many oils, greases, diesel, petrol and cleaning fluids. Electrically insulating, weldable and bondable. Conforms to ASTM D4066.

Nylon 66 benefits over Nylon 6: Higher temperature rating, lower impact strength and mechanical damping. Higher wear resistance and easier to machine.

Applications: Rollers, gears, friction strips, bushes, spindle nuts, piston guides, castors, impact plates, friction bearings, conveyor screws, cam discs, rope pulleys, plug parts, damping plates, bearings.
