Shotblast Rubber Gaskets - Black

Shotblast Rubber Gaskets - Black

Black shotblast rubber gaskets are cut from an abrasion resistant natural rubber that offers excellent durability and resistance to wear. These gaskets provide high elasticity, excellent tensile strength and can operate as an effective seal under a low compression set. Black shotblast gaskets also perform well when in contact with some aldehydes, wet or dry organic acids and weak chemicals, but are not suitable for use with petroleum or lubricating oils.

Shotblast gaskets have a smooth plate finish on both sides and are commonly used in abrasive applications when a hard wearing seal is required. We can also supply abrasion resistant grades in red and white or tan para gaskets if a softer, more compressible material is required.

At PAR Group, we have the capability to manufacture, bespoke, dovetail, picture frame or standard flange gaskets utilising in-house CNC machineryIf you require additional information on how to accurately measure your gasket please see our step by step guide on 'How to Measure a Gasket'
