Acrylic - Perspex® - Sheet and Rod

Perspex Acrylic Sheet Rod & Tube

Key Features:

  • Excellent optical properties.
  • Lightweight.
  • Outstanding UV resistance.
  • Good Resistance to some weak acids and alkalis.
  • Easily fabricated, cut, drilled and polished.

Temperature Range:
Up to +75ºC, +90ºC short term

Applications:
Display cases, decorative shelving, displays, lighting, sight glass, working models & signage.

Acrylic sheet can be manufactured cast or extruded. Each method offers slightly different mechanical qualities.

Cast Acrylic

The high surface quality is achieved by casting against glass. It is long term weather resistant with no colour discolouration allowing 92% Transmission of light. Use Cast Acryllic where light and weathering are factors.

Extruded Acrylic

Chemically resisitant extruded thermoplastic with low water absorbtion. Resistant to weathering. Ideal for machine guards, prototype models signs, and screens.
