  • Internal Sales Adviser

  • Job Location: PAR Group | Manchester | OL10 1NB

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

  • Job Hours: 42.5 hours per week.

  • Job Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00.

  • Remuneration: From £30,000.00 to £37,000.00, depending on experience.

  • Full Job Description:

    PAR Group is a market leader in the manufacture, process and supply of plastic, insulation and rubber products to industry. With two strategically placed locations in the north-west of England, we are ideally positioned to service customers throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.

    We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join the team at our Manchester branch. Your role will involve providing support to the Production Manager by undertaking a number of daily organisational tasks as detailed below.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Undertaking work orders generated by the internal sales teams.
    • Working parts of a team to manage the weekly workload.
    • Understanding technical drawing and working to different tolerance.
    • Using inspection measuring equipment.
    • First off, inspection set up, and the last part machined.
    • Tool storage and requesting replacement tooling.
    • Keeping work area clean & tidy.
    • Training/guiding apprentices.
    • Recycling of material when appropriate to do so.
  • The Candidate Should:

    • Display excellent health and safety awareness.
    • 3 year plus experience setting/operating manual & CNC lathes.
    • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
    • Show strong communication skills, decision making, and time management.
    • Have a willingness to learn.
    • Have experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.

    We are currently recruiting for a Water Jet Operative to join the team at our Manchester branch. Your role will involve providing support to the Production Manager by undertaking a number of daily organisational tasks as detailed below.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Good Health & safety knowledge working with high pressure systems.
    • Undertaking works orders generated by the internal sales team.
    • Contributing to accurate stock management.
    • Use DXF into Igems nest part to programme.
    • Basis 2D cad knowledge.
    • Inspection of first off part and finished items.
    • Plan & manage workload to hit dispatch dates.
  • The Candidate Should:

    • 2 years experience setting and operating Water jet cutting machines.
    • Display excellent health and safety awareness.
    • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
    • Show strong communication skills, decision making, and time management.
    • Have strong numerical and IT skills.
    • Have a willingness to learn.
    • Have an FLT counterbalance license (preferred but not essential).
    • Have experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
