Plastic Tube

Plastic Tubes

We are a UK leader in all forms of stock shape plastics and bespoke manufactured components. Plastic tube is supplied in fewer grades than both sheet and rod, but can still be sourced in engineering, display and high specification grades as required.

Polycarbonate and acrylic, popular for their excellent optical clarity, are frequently used in display and fabrication applications, while engineering grades such as nylon and acetal are often used for components requiring improved technical properties like hardness and tensile strength. Many of our nylon grades extruded or cast are also available. PEEK and PTFE grades can be supplied in instances of elevated temperature, chemical exposure, or contact with foodstuffs.

Our stocked plastic tubes are typically supplied either by the metre or by the length depending on the grade, colour and size you require. Most tubes can be milled, turned or sawn into custom shapes and components such as bushes, washers, wheels and rollers. For further information on our manufacturing capabilities, please see our plastic machining page.

Along with our rigid plastic tube, we also stock and supply many smaller diameter, flexible plastic tubings for use in solid, liquid and gas transfer applications.

For additional information on individual grades of plastic tube, please click the ‘view product’ buttons below. Pages will include availability, technical specifications and food contact approval information where applicable.

As with the plastic sheet and rod, you'll find both a comparison table and chemical resistance chart at the bottom of this page. Please refer to these if you are unsure which grade of plastic tube is suitable for your application.

If you are still unsure, please contact our technical sales team to discuss your requirements further.
