Are you able to supply PTFE-lined hose for acid transfer?

Yes, we supply PTFE-lined chemical hose in a range of pressure ratings and bore sizes, suitable for concentrated acids, alkalis and solvents. Hose assemblies can be made up with your choice of end fittings and pressure-tested before despatch.

Do PAR Group supply anti-static products for ATEX zones?

Yes, we stock anti-static and ATEX-rated hose and PolyATEX® suitable for use in explosive atmospheres. Our team can advise on the correct product for your specific zone classification and media. We offer a lot of technical advice on our web pages, but please contact the team for any other questions.

What plastic materials are suitable for chemical contact?

PTFE, HDPE, PVDF and polypropylene are commonly specified for chemical contact applications. We can supply these in sheet, rod and tube form and machine them to your requirements. Our technical team can advise on the most appropriate grade for your specific chemical exposure.

I need bespoke components manufacturing to replace a broken part. Can PAR Group help?

That is not a problem. From samples or if you are able to provide a full dimensions sketch, our sales team, alongside our CAD and production team, can take a look and manufacture a suitable replacement.

Chemical Plant, UK

A site had a problem when ordering clear plastic settlement tubes; they couldn't purchase just the tubes. Their alternative supplier requires a full kit, including settlement tubes, a motor, and stirrers, so replacements are costly. One of our business development managers visited the site to measure up these tubes, including the base. Settlement tubes must be watertight, so it was important that the tube slot into the base. Utilising our CNC profile-cutting technology, we ensured the tube was slotted in place and fully welded to create a water-tight joint. By offering these settlement tubes as standalone units, we achieved a cost saving of almost half compared to the alternative supplier.
