Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate Sheet

Polycarbonate sheet (PC) is a tough, impact-resistant thermoplastic that provides excellent durability and dimensional stability. It offers a broad operating temperature range, is shatter resistant and provides excellent optical clarity (dependent on the grade).

At PAR Group, we supply a range of polycarbonate brands that offer different characteristics. Our standard and most popular grade is Impex®, which is able to withstand repeated impact and is considered to be over 200 times stronger than glass. Impex® is UV protected on both sides (with the exception of 1mm and 1.5mm) and is suitable for use as a window or skylight. It has a B-s1, d0 fire classification to EN 13501-1 (from 1.5mm up to 6mm) and has the highest operating temperature of any of the polycarbonates in our range.

Polycarbonate sheet can be machined, formed, welded and bonded and is commonly fabricated into machine guards, protective screen barriers, or CNC cut into bespoke profiles. At PAR, we offer a plastic fabrication service and can manufacture parts to your exact specifications from dimensional drawings or from samples.

Polycarbonate sheet is available to buy online at PAR Direct. Please follow the links below for more information on each individual grade or click the 'buy online' button above. Polycarbonate rod and tube are also available.
