Sigma® 533

Sigma® 533 is a high performing, biaxially orientated PTFE based material that contains a barium sulphate (barytes) filler. The material offers standard compressibility and is ideal for sealing applications in the food, drink and pharmaceutical industries. It is FDA compliant and is suitable for use with strong alkalis and chemicals across the whole pH range of 0-14 (except molten alkali metals, fluorine gas and anhydrous HF). Sigma® 533 is also suitable for use with hydrofluoric acid below 49%.
