GRP Grating

GRP Grating

GRP grating combines fibreglass rovings with thermosetting resin to form a strong, load bearing (selected thicknesses), one-piece moulded panel. They are a popular alternative to galvanised or stainless steel grating due to being relatively lightweight, corrosion resistant, highly durable and UV stable.

The composite make-up of our GRP grating contains a fire resistant additive that attains a Euro Class 1, ISO 11925-2 accreditation (equivalent to ASTM E84 class 1 and BS 476 part 7, class 2). The gritted surface has been tested in accordance with BS 7976-2 and provides an exceptional level of slip resistance. PAR Group also offer an on-site fitting service if required. GRP grating is available to buy online at PAR Direct by clicking the link above.

Feet For Drainage

GRP Grating with Adjustable Foot

Adjustable feet can also be supplied to assist with drainage where grating is installed onto flat surfaces. Our part 465489 is suitable for use with GRP grating with a mesh pitch of 38 x 38mm (internal mesh of 32 x 32mm). This raises the grating up, allowing for the drainage of liquids.

Please refer to the table above showing internal mesh dimensions.
