6528 - Glass Cloth Clip Ducting (450°C)

6528 - glass cloth clip ducting (450°C) is manufactured from a two-ply glass fabric outer, with a heat resistant impregnated glass fabric inner which is reinforced with an integrated VA wire.  There is also an external galvanised steel wire for additional strength. This flexible ducting offers good abrasion resistance and has a recommended maximum operating temperature of +450°C (continuous). Applications

Suitable for the suction and delivery of high temperature air, fume and gas in most industries. It is commonly used in furnace construction, iron and steel works, vehicle and engineer construction and the aircraft industry.

• Temperature: -20°C to +450°C (peaking at +500°C).
• Highly flexible, robust and has strong flamability resistance.

Standards

• Adheres to TRBS 2153 (Zone 1, 21) for non-flammable dusts and gases with low conductivity for dissipation of electrostatic charges with double-ended grounding of clips and gradient of < 30 mm.
