Fire hydrant standpipes and extensions are available from PAR Group in a number of different types. They screw onto the male urban round thread (URT) of the underground fire hydrant and can be supplied with female instantaneous or BSP outlets.

Single outlet fire hydrant standpipes come with a swivel connection to a shaft. The standpipe has a 2½" female URT inlet and a twist release 2½" female instantaneous outlet.
Double outlet fire hydrant standpipes come with a swivel connection to a shaft. The standpipe has a female URT inlet and a twist release 2½" female instantaneous outlet.
Single outlet fire hydrant standpipe with a non-return valve that helps to avoids back siphonage and contamination of potable water. The non-return valve is manufactured from copper alloy and has a detachable head that can be rotated 360°. The standpipe has a 2½" female URT inlet and a twist release 2½" female instantaneous outlet.
Single head contractors standpipe with a non-return valve and bib tap. The standpipe has a 2½" female URT inlet and a male BSP thread outlet with a 1" female BSP to 3/4" hose tail attached.
Double head contractors standpipe with a non-return valve and bib tap. The standpipe has a female URT inlet and a 1" male BSP thread with a 1" female BSP to double 3/4" hose tail attached.
Fire hydrant standpipe extensions are commonly used when the ground level has been raised and access with regular equipment is limited. The extension allows connection between a regular standpipe and the underground hydrant. The extension has a 2½" female URT inlet to a 2½" male URT outlet and is available in a durable light alloy as standard or with a blue hammerite finish upon request.

Replacement EPDM standpipe outlet seals (top) and inlet seals (base) are also available should they be required.
