Neoprene Sponge Sheeting - 2C2 (formerly SCE42) is a medium density closed cell expanded sponge. It has good resistance to oil making it popular for use within the automotive and aerospace industries. 2C2 sponge can be used for both internal and external applications due to its good resistance to ozone, sunlight and oxidation. The closed cell nature makes neoprene sponge sheeting an excellent gasket material as it effectively seals against moisture, dust and draught. Previously referred to as SCE42 sponge, this sheeting has been tested to flammability classification UL94 and passed with a HB 94 rating. 2C2 neoprene sponge sheeting can be purchased online buy clicking on the red 'Buy Online' button above.
