Acetal Homopolymer (Delrin®) Sheet

Acetal Homopolymer (Delrin®) Sheet

Acetal homopolymer sheet (commonly referred to as Delrin® sheet) is a strong, rigid plastic with a higher mechanical strength, hardness and creep resistance than Acetal copolymer. It also has a high resistance to wear, but is not resistant to long term immersion in water in temperatures over +60°C. It is easy to machine, has very good electrical insulation properties and is resistant to most dilute acids, cleaning agents and some solvents. Acetal homopolymer (Delrin®) sheet has a lower thermal expansion rate than Acetal copolymer. PAR can supply genuine Delrin® plastic sheet upon request. Please specify in writing at time of enquiry.

Applications

Friction bearings, gears, spring elements, housing parts, rollers, friction strips, plugs, insulators, snap fit connectors and seals.
