UHMW Tape

UHMW tape offers high wear resistance due to its low coefficient of friction. The material is manufactured from a high molecular weight polyolefin and is self-adhesive backed for easy installation. It has a smooth surface, which ensures good release properties. UHMW tape is more abrasion / puncture resistant than PTFE, offers good chemical resistance and has a low level of moisture absorption. 

Applications

A popular option in food, automotive and aerospace industries. A common option for food packaging, green belting and tapes.
