Braided Packing - Soft Core

Braided packing - soft core is a more flexible and compressible version of the standard braided packing. It is also available in both ceramic and glass fibre. The glass option is manufactured from a glass rope lagging core with a full coverage overbraid of glass yarns. The ceramic versions are manufactured from a ceramic lagging core with a full coverage overbraid of ceramic yarns which are reinforced with either a nickel chrome wire or glass yarns. Applications

Sealing rings, kiln, furnace and boiler door seals.

Temperature: +550°C (glass fibre), +1260°C (ceramic fibre base fabric).
