International Women’s Day Fundraiser Brings Everyone Together
On Friday, 6 March 2026, our team came together to celebrate International Women’s Day with a charity fundraising day in support of two incredible organisations: Lancashire Women and Manchester Women's Aid. Colleagues across the business took part to help raise funds and awareness for the vital work these charities carry out, we did this by:
Hosting a bake sale:
Our bake sale table was packed with delicious homemade treats and shop-bought favourites. Thanks to our volunteer bakers and everyone who stopped by for a sweet treat, the stall was a fantastic success.
Hot Chocolate Station:
The hot chocolate station proved popular throughout the day. Complete with whipped cream, marshmallows, and plenty of toppings, it offered the perfect excuse to take a break and donate to a great cause.
Guess the Sweets in the Jar:
The guessing game sparked friendly competition, with plenty of participants trying their luck. It was a fun way to encourage donations and bring people together. We are also so thankful to the local company Lollipops who kindly donated one of our sweet jars.
Dress Down Day:
From cosy loungewear and pyjamas to bold purple outfits, everyone embraced the dress-down theme, adding colour and positivity to the workplace while showing support for International Women’s Day.
Most importantly, the day helped raise valuable funds and awareness for Lancashire Women and Manchester Women’s Aid, organisations that provide essential support, safety, and advocacy for women facing challenging circumstances.
We are incredibly proud of the generosity shown and the enthusiasm with which everyone took part. Events like this highlight the power of coming together to support important causes and strengthen our community.
