B48 Epoxy Glass Laminate

B48 Epoxy Glass Laminate

B48 epoxy glass laminate has similar electrical and chemical resistance properties to B36 epoxy but with improved stability at elevated temperatures. It will retain enhanced mechanical properties, increased flexural strength after heat ageing and decreased distortion at temperatures up to +155°C. This material is supplied as a direct alternative to genuine TUFNOL® 10G44.

B48 is a relatively lightweight material that can be machined and converted into complex bespoke components and shapes. It's rigidity allows it to be processed using the same manufacturing techniques as engineering plastic sheet, such as our in-house CNC milling, turning, drilling and sawing facilities. B48 is manufactured to BS EN 60893 Standard: 3-2-EPGC203.
