Silicone rubber gaskets are cut from a synthetic elastomer that provides excellent non-stick and electrical insulating properties. It maintains its flexibility and compression set at both low and high temperatures making it a popular option for gasket and sealing applications.
Silicone rubber gaskets are often used in external environments due to the elastomers excellent resistance to ozone, weathering and oxidation. Specific grades such as red oxide and 30° blue carry WRAS approval and are suitable for use with potable water at temperatures up to +85°C. We also offer a range of silicone rubber gaskets in a variety of colours that comply to the latest FDA food contact regulations. Alternatively, we can supply metal detectable silicone gaskets to help reduce the risk of product contamination.
For more information regarding the material options we can manufacture, please see the availability table and technical data sheets below.
At PAR Group, we have the capability to manufacture gaskets utilising CNC machinery and can fulfil one off or high volume requirements. For information on how to measure flange and picture frame gaskets, please view our step by step guide on 'How to Measure a Gasket'.
